As an orthopedist I lead a team of practitioners (Physical, Occupational, Craniosacral, Speech and Massage Therapists; Podiatrists; Chiropractors, and an Acupuncturist) in the evaluation and primarily non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal problems. Surgery always remains a treatment option.
Most musculoskeletal conditions may be treated and the patient improved by non-surgical techniques. We utilize a global approach which includes evaluation and correction of the patient's biomechanics, posture, and life activities.
Most musculoskeletal (bones, joints, muscles) conditions; acute trauma and fractures; overuse syndromes; sport-related, myofascial/chronic pain syndromes.
Exercise-based rehabilitation with modalities; orthotics, injection therapy (joint, trigger point, prolotherapy), manipulation, massage, acupuncture, surgery.
